Over the 6 week holiday break we will be running our very popular Holiday Club, for children aged 4 – 12 , this will be located at Huggies and not Sun Academy this year to make it easier for parents bringing younger siblings into nursery during the school break.

It will cost just £21 per child and this covers childcare from 7.30am until 6pm. Children will need to bring in a packed lunch, dress in suitable clothes and bring in additional items if needed, such as wellies for rain, sun cream for hot days etc. there will be a wide variety of crafts, games and adventures on offer through all the 6 week holiday. Booking is essential as places are limited and filling up fast. To book simply call the office or pop in.

We are pleased to announce we have now been awarded sun safe status
We have been awarded Sun Safe Nursery Status for implementing the Sun Safe Nursery policy and teaching by:

  • Informing all parents/guardians of the scheme and the importance of providing appropriate sun hats and quality sunscreen
  • Providing all parents/guardians sun safety information to read and retain whilst advising on the importance of role modelling
  • Ensuring all nursery staff act as Sun Safe role models
  • Ensuring all children are taught the basic elements of Sun Safety, with messages regularly reinforced

We recognise that together we have a duty of care to ensure that our children grow up with sufficient knowledge of sun safety and that our children are, as far as possible, protected against the sun’s harmful rays whilst in our care.
