Today we have visited Peter Pan to give them the proceeds from our Story-a-thon, Thank You for support and generosity it was an amazing amount we raised, in total £660 has gone to support an amazing and essential service to local families.
We will set another fund raising challenge later this year, keep your eyes peeled.

We had Stella from The Farm On Wheels come to visit us last Thursday, the children really enjoyed meeting Nancy the Nanny goat and her 2 kids, the rabbits, the hen and chicks, the rat and the 3 lambs who they got to walk and feed.

Wow, what a fabulous day we had yesterday celebrating the end of term and our superstar school leavers! We are so proud of each and everyone of our children and know they are going be amazing as they start their new adventure to big school.
On behalf of everyone at Huggies, we would like to say thank you to our parents for trusting us with your precious little ones, its our absolute pleasure to help them learn, grow and get ready for their next step. Also a huge thank you for your continued support.

Huggies Annual Halloween Party

Walk through our 7 spooky rooms and trick or treat the scary staff, lots of treats up for grabs along with a few tricks , each child should receive at least 6 bags of sweeties.

crafting and messy play on offer along with a spooky disco at the end , tickets are just £2.50 available at reception. Limited tickets due to capacity. Dont miss out, its going to be spooktacular.

Lending Library

We now have a brand new lending library in our reception area.

Children can now borrow books and share the story at home with their parents, then bring back when they are finished and take another home.

We are pleased to announce we have now been awarded sun safe status
We have been awarded Sun Safe Nursery Status for implementing the Sun Safe Nursery policy and teaching by:

  • Informing all parents/guardians of the scheme and the importance of providing appropriate sun hats and quality sunscreen
  • Providing all parents/guardians sun safety information to read and retain whilst advising on the importance of role modelling
  • Ensuring all nursery staff act as Sun Safe role models
  • Ensuring all children are taught the basic elements of Sun Safety, with messages regularly reinforced

We recognise that together we have a duty of care to ensure that our children grow up with sufficient knowledge of sun safety and that our children are, as far as possible, protected against the sun’s harmful rays whilst in our care.
